Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Athlete Agents Lab LLC ("Athlete Agent Labs," "we," "us"). By accessing athleteagent.ai or submitting a document for analysis, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service is currently offered as a limited beta. Access to the contract-analysis feature may require a beta access code, and features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued without notice while the beta runs.
2. What the service is
Athlete Agent Labs is an automated contract-analysis platform for NCAA student-athletes. When you submit a name, image, and likeness ("NIL") or revenue-sharing agreement, the platform uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to classify the contract, extract its terms, and generate a plain-English educational report that identifies and explains provisions commonly found in agreements of that type.
The report is designed to help you understand what your contract says and to prepare you for an informed conversation with qualified advisors. It is a reading aid — not a recommendation engine.
3. No legal advice; no attorney-client relationship; educational use only
ATHLETE AGENT LABS IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE, LEGAL REPRESENTATION, OR LEGAL OPINIONS. REPORTS AND ALL OTHER OUTPUT OF THE SERVICE ARE AUTOMATED, EDUCATIONAL ANALYSES OF CONTRACT LANGUAGE. THEY IDENTIFY AND CLASSIFY PROVISIONS; THEY DO NOT TELL YOU WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO ASK FOR, OR WHETHER TO SIGN, MODIFY, OR REJECT ANY CONTRACT.
USE OF THE SERVICE DOES NOT CREATE AN ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP, A SPORTS-AGENT OR ATHLETE-AGENT RELATIONSHIP, OR ANY FIDUCIARY OR ADVISORY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND ATHLETE AGENT LABS.
REPORTS ARE GENERATED BY ARTIFICIAL-INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR MISREADINGS OF YOUR DOCUMENT. THEY MAY NOT REFLECT THE MOST CURRENT LEGAL OR REGULATORY DEVELOPMENTS, AND THEY CANNOT ACCOUNT FOR FACTS OUTSIDE THE SUBMITTED DOCUMENT OR FOR JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC INTERPRETATION.
FOR ANY DECISION WITH FINANCIAL, ELIGIBILITY, OR CAREER CONSEQUENCES — INCLUDING WHETHER TO SIGN, MODIFY, OR CONTEST A CONTRACT — CONSULT A LICENSED ATTORNEY, YOUR REGISTERED ATHLETE AGENT, OR YOUR SCHOOL'S COMPLIANCE OFFICE.
4. Who may use the service
The service is intended for NCAA student-athletes and the people who support them (family, coaches, compliance staff). You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. The service is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly accept submissions from anyone under 18.
The service analyzes NCAA-related NIL and revenue-sharing agreements only. Submissions outside that scope (for example, professional contracts or non-contract documents) may be rejected automatically.
5. Your submission
When you submit a document, you represent that you have the legal right to submit it for analysis, including under any confidentiality provision that applies to it or to you.
You keep all rights you have in your documents. The beta is offered free of charge; in exchange, de-identified contract data improves the analysis for every athlete who follows. Subject to the consent you give at upload, you grant Athlete Agent Labs a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use submitted contracts — with your name, address, contact details, and signature removed — to operate, evaluate, and improve the platform's analysis systems. Counterparty identities and deal terms are retained in that de-identified form. Contributions already incorporated into improved systems cannot be reversed, but you may request deletion of your stored source document at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to provide legal, agency, or advisory services to others;
- submit documents you have no right to submit;
- probe, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass the beta access controls or submission limits;
- reverse engineer the platform or use it to build a competing dataset or service; or
- use the service in violation of NCAA rules, your institution's policies, or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The platform — including its software, design, knowledge base, and report formats — belongs to Athlete Agent Labs and its licensors. Your report is yours to download, share with your advisors, and use for your own purposes.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY REPORT IS COMPLETE OR CORRECT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATHLETE AGENT LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, ELIGIBILITY, COMPENSATION, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR ANY REPORT — INCLUDING DECISIONS MADE OR NOT MADE IN RELIANCE ON A REPORT. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless Athlete Agent Labs from claims arising out of your breach of Section 5 (submission rights) or your unlawful use of the service.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes; termination
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date will change when we do, and material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the service (or your access) at any time during the beta.
